General Information

Welcome to the 2026 All-Canada Convention of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Canada hosted by St. Thomas Christian Church and Mapleton Church of Christ. We are thrilled to have you here and hope you enjoy your time in beautiful Elgin County.

Registration 

The registration desk will be set up in the entryway. Someone will be checking people in from 12 to 6pm on Thursday. You can check in at any time afterwards. Your registration packet includes a nametag, lanyard, workshop assignments, and a grab bag of local goodies. 

There is a WhatsApp group for those who wish to converse! Please check your emails, or ask one of our volunteers how to join.

Snacks & Meals

Please bring a reusable water bottle and a reusable coffee cup with you to refill during the day. Coffee/tea/water will be available at the break times during our meeting. Snacks will also be available. For those who have purchased a meal plan, meals will be served at times indicated in the schedule. Meals will be served in the fellowship room, with one exception - the Banquet will be held in the sanctuary. 

Accessibility Needs 

Please let our national staff or local hosts know about how we can make your time more comfortable or safe for your needs. St. Thomas has only one floor, and no stairs. We consider it fully accessible, with one exception. We do not have an automatic door opener. Should you need assistance opening the door, there will certainly be a disciple around to help.

We have made accommodations for allergies but please inform someone if your allergies are airborne, or you forgot to note it in your food forms.

Other Locations to Consider:

• You can find vendor tables in the Sanctuary, showcasing the work of Disciples across Canada.

• In the Archives, we have set up a quiet space for prayer and contemplation. Please come for a few minutes if you feel overwhelmed or overstimulated.

• The chapel features a drop-in craft area. It also doubles as our childcare area.

• In the hallway, you will find a poster and markers to make suggestions for our 2027 prayer calendar. 

• Our group project may shift locations. We are weaving a large tapestry together, so it should be easy to find.
