In Memory of Joe Driskill

We are shocked and saddened to share that our beloved Rev. Dr. Joseph Denver Driskill of London, Ontario, died last night at seventy-nine years old.

Rev. Dr. Driskill was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church in Toronto and has also been involved at St. Andrew's First United Church in London. Joe never relented from church service and was actively serving on the College of the Churches of Christ in Canada.

A compassionate pastor, Joe was ordained in 1971 by Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) In Kentucky, and he has served in congregational leadership and higher education across the US and Canada, with both the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and The United Church of Canada.

Joe was also passionate scholar and studied at Culver-Stockton College, Vanderbilt University, the University of Regina, and The Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.

He leaves behind his wife, Leslie Bryant. May he rest in peace, rise in glory, and may God's peace be with those of us who mourn.
